The acquisition of Swedish interior comfort specialist HAVD marks TAJCO's most significant strategic move – and the first step in a multi-acquisition growth plan.
Today, TAJCO completes the acquisition of HAVD – a Swedish manufacturer of premium interior comfort components for the automotive industry, including acoustic dampening, thermal insulation, and seating products.
This is the most significant step in TAJCO's history and the first move in a deliberate, multi-year diversification strategy. As electrified vehicles grow in share, TAJCO has long known that a business built solely on exterior exhaust trim has a ceiling. HAVD's products are drivetrain-independent - they belong in every premium vehicle, regardless of powertrain - and the segment is growing structurally.
This acquisition is the first of several planned over the next five years. TAJCO's vision is to become a leading niche supplier to premium OEMs – with a diversified portfolio of precision-engineered products that serve the premium automotive market across all powertrain types.
