By 2030, we will achieve 90% carbon reduction for our Scope 1 + 2 greenhouse gas emissions and reduce our Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 30% compared to 2020.
Material reduction & Packaging efficiency
Our teams from various departments work together on material reduction, improving packaging efficiency.
Actions
We are also working towards searching sea transportation with clean energy, and utilising sustainable chemicals and green stainless steel.
Innovation
We focus on developing innovative materials made from bio-based and recycled sources. With our world-class headquarters and an R&D centre set to open in late 2024, we are strategically positioned to create next-generation low-CO2 materials and help meet our scope 3 targets.
Actions on scope 3
With energy being key to reaching our first milestone in 2030, we are accelerating our efforts to improve energy efficiency (-5% in 2024 versus 2020) and to increase the use of renewable power through on-site generation (solar panels) and off-site purchases.
Transition to Green Electricity
Production site in China running 100% on renewable electricity since 2024.
We have reduced Scope 2 emission by 97% compared to base year 2020
Solar Panel Installations
The on-site solar panels were installed in early 2025, directly reducing emission by generating clean energy on-site.
3.1 million kWh will be supplied by solar panels in 2025 (26% of total electricity consumption)
