New Mexican Plant: Boosting Stainless Steel Trim Production for North American OEMs

New facility in Queretaro, Mexico, will serve local content requirements for North American OEMs and Tier-1s.
More than US$5 million investment for the new facility.
We are proud to announce that TAJCO nears completion on its new plant in Queretaro, Mexico, where it plans to produce stainless steel exhaust trims for a wide range of Tier-1 and North American OEM customers.
Investment in the new facility, where production is planned to begin in Q2/2026 and at full capacity in Q1/2027, amounts to more than US$5 million. The >11.000 square metre facility will house a wholesome of functions including operations, engineering, quality, purchasing and program management, and is expected to create more than 270 new jobs in the region.
“Mexico is a key manufacturing base for global automakers and their suppliers. Our new plant is strategically positioned to provide localised production for North American customers. ‘Local for local’ remains central to our strategy, and we are committed to supporting our customers in achieving it”, said Erik Laursen, the CEO of TAJCO Group.
